The fantastic thriller “Breaking” follows the of John Deft, a brilliant hacker who is forced to work for the notorious female Mafia leader, the cruel Kim, after she takes his wife and son hostage.

The year is 2150 and the world has overcome a devastating pandemic and local resource wars that claimed half of the population. People fought for their lives and thanks to one mad scientist a universal vaccine was created, and people were able to survive and became immune to diseases and viruses.

In this new world, the entire global economy has switched to Blockchain Systems, with people abandoning paper money to avoid the transfer of viruses. The state and political processes of the world are now controlled and managed through a centralized Blockchain.

However, not everyone is content with this new order. A resistance group called the “Free Society” emerges, led by Max Gray and his assistant, the brilliant hacker John Deft. They believe that the world government is using the Blockchain network to control the lives of people and sees it as a new threat to humanity. The Free Society’s goal is to break into the system, gain complete control, and destroy the centralization.

John realizes that in order to break into the Blockchain network, he must take control of all the nodes and computers on earth, an impossible feat.

However, during the group’s raids, John begins to notice that someone is helping them. John is looking for a mysterious assistant. Gradually it turns out that this help is somehow connected with Tony Morris who in 2020 was part of the “NanoGen” project, which studied the possibilities of technology and biology. But after a laboratory attack, the project founder Tony Morris disappeared and the project’s secret developments vanished. The information about the “NanoGen” project was fragmented and hidden in different Blockchain networks.

After a bloody redistribution in 2100, a world mafia led by cruel Kim takes control of all criminal groups in the world and decides to use the “NanoGen” project for her criminal purposes. She captures John and takes his wife and son hostage, forcing John to lead a double game. John must find whoever is behind the secret development and hand over control of the “NanoGen” project.

John turns to former policeman Philip for help. Philip left the police after losing his family during a special operation to arrest a Mafia leader. He now runs a shelter for troubled children and dedicates his life to this mission. Philip promises to help John using his police connections.

The search for the control of “NanoGen” project involves the Free Society, the Mafia, and the “Secret Intelligence Service” (SIS), each with its own motives and methods. The stakes are high, with various criminal means, such as blackmail, bribery, hacking, and murder, being used.

Gradually it becomes clear that the paths to finding the Genius who controls “NanoGen” project lead to Philip’s orphanage, but the rivals soon discover that everything is not as simple as it seems. In order to stop the “NanoGen” project, they must destroy all of humanity.
